Andrey Gavrilovich Chernov, born in Lugovoye village Kolyshleysky district Penza region in 1903. He finished 3 classes and started to work from an early age because he had a big family (3 brothers and 2 sisters). He created his own family and worked as head of dairy farm. When he went to the front line, he already had 4 children but did not wait to see the 5th one. At the begining of the war he was drafted to the Kolyshleisky RVK as a Red Army soldier. He was killed by an enemy's bullet on April 26, 1942. He is buried in Kaluga region, Baryatinsky district.
