Nikifor Lapshin was born in 1901 in the village of Davydovka, Baranovsky District, Penza Region (now Ulyanovsk Region) on August 28, 1941. He was called up to the front (at the age of 40). He was a Private (Rifleman) of the 22nd Guards Division. Participated in the fighting near Smolensk (Russia), in Vitebsk (Belorussian SSR). He was killed on October 29, 1943. Place of burial: Belorussian SSR, Vitebsk Region, Orsha District, villadge of Sudlow. Later, he was reburied in a mass grave in the Belarusian SSR, Vitebsk Region, Dubrovensky District, villadge of Petriki.
