Nina Moiseeva. A child of war. Born on November 20, 1926. When there was a war, she was 14 years old. She was in the sixth grade. She grew up in a large family. There were five brothers, and she was the only girl. The mother died when she was thirteen years old. Three brothers went to the front. She did not study for long. She and her younger brothers were very afraid of German air raids. Lived from hand to mouth. There was nothing to heat the stove with. Every day she waited for letters from her brothers from the front. There was overcast on the Victory Day. Shouts, women crying, and songs could be heard in the street. Two brothers returned from the front, the third one was seriously wounded in the Battle of Stalingrad and died in a hospital. She is currently alive, 93 years old.
