Adodin Fedor Vasilievich
CITY: s. Kurya, Altai Territory DATE OF BIRTH: 04/15/1922 DATE OF DEATH: - HISTORY: Title: Junior Sergeant Troops: Artillery Subdivision: 21st Infantry Perm Red Banner Division Junior Sergeant, machine gunner Fyodor Adodin liberated his native land from Nazi and Karl invaders on Voltakhovsk ... He took part in hostilities in Romania and Hungary. He was wounded twice. And yet he survived all deaths out of spite. Fedor was called to the front when he was eighteen. With fellow countrymen from the Krasnoyarsk Territory, they taught the charter, mastered drill and combat training. Soon they were sent as part of a ski battalion to Moscow, and later to Kirov. The soldier Fyodor Adodin also made his contribution to the work of the Road of Life, the only path connecting besieged Leningrad with the country. They strengthened the road in winter with logs, snow in duffel bags. Steam was emanating from the water on Lake Ladoga. Fogs, poor visibility. In such conditions, the food trucks sank before Fyodor's eyes. Or a plane with a swastika will fire. So they lived between life and death. Here is what the veteran Adodin FV says: "We were not afraid of anything. We looked death in the eye. We won because the truth was on our side. And the Nazis, unlike us, were afraid. Let's remember Stalingrad. There was a meat grinder. Regiments, battalions command They threw people into the very heat. And died in regiments, battalions. The enemy force was defended by artillery, and our soldier threw himself under the bullets shouting: “Forward!" The enemy tried to take us with the superiority of material strength, we - with military skill, dexterity. On the defensive, the Nazis shoot from long-range mortars. And we do not always have such ammunition. We will fire six high-explosive Polish mines - they have three people at once. I will not forget how we held the defense 12 km from Petrozavodsk. An armored train of the enemy will approach - it will break all our defenses. We were saving ourselves under the mountain. And there, in the lowland, there was dampness, swamp. I remember the water in April instead d walked in felt boots. That is why now my legs hurt. “A lot of my fellow countrymen died,” the veteran continues, “Kuligin was torn apart by a shell a meter away from me. I warned him: "Go away for the poplar." He did not obey ... During the whole war I was wounded by shrapnel in my cervical vertebra, like scalded with boiling water. He also healed the second shrapnel wound in the lower back - and faster to his guys, to the location of the military unit. The medal "For Courage" and the Order of Glory of the III degree are very dear to the front-line soldier. Fyodor Adodin celebrated Victory Day in Hungary, at Balaton station. Hats flew into the air, everyone hugged, rejoiced. The joy of the long-awaited day united the warriors. Only the way home for Fedor was not quick. He continued his military service until January 1948. Demobilized from Romania. He spent his working life in Aleisk. He worked as a tractor driver on virgin soil, as a driver of a timber truck in SMU-6, at the Zagotskot enterprise, in a fattening farm, as a freight forwarder in the Ust-Kalmansk region. - "I worked honestly, kept my farm, I was not lazy, I did not abuse alcohol, so I am a long-liver," the veteran smiles. On April 15, 2017 Fedor Vasilyevich turned 95 - he will never forget what war is.
