Corps: Land forces. Lisovin Andrey Pavlovich 1910-1994. When the Great Patriotic war began, he was 31 years old. He fought as a private in the infantry on the territory of Belarus in a division under the command of General Vlasov. In the autumn of 1942, due to Vlasov's betrayal and his defection to the Germans, Andrey Pavlovich, among many other fighters, was surrounded and taken prisoner. Twice escaped from captivity, but was captured by the Nazis and tortured. As a punishment, the Germans doused him and other participants of the escape with cold water in the cold, pierced their feet with bayonets, wounds and scars from which remained for life. To prevent further escape attempts, Andrey was sent to a camp for prisoners of war in Germany, and from there he was transferred to work in a factory. Then a German burgher took him to work on a farm, where my grandfather looked after the cattle, ate and slept in the same room with them. In 1945 he was released from captivity by the troops of the American allies and handed him over to Soviet soldiers. For two more years after the end of the war, Andrey was in a special camp for former prisoners of war in Konigsberg (now Kaliningrad) and passed the so-called security check. All this time, our family had no information about him, because after 1942, he was reported as missing in action. In 1947 Andrey Pavlovich returned home to the Kuban, to the village of Dinskaya on the farm named after Lenin. Awards: the Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd Class, the medal "For Combat Service", as well as six other commemorative medals. He died in 1994 at the age of 84.
