Eremeev Mikhail Illarionovich
Rank: Red Army Soldier. Corps: Land forces, air force (except naval aviation), coast guard, NKVD troops, border guards. He was born in the family of the priest Yeremeyev Illarion Mironovich and his wife Paraskeva Grigoryevna. In the 30s his family was repressed and exiled to the Northern Urals. Mikhail Eremeev participated in the Civil war and the fight against basmachism in Turkestan, probably served in the Cheka, OGPU or NKVD, was twice wounded. He was drafted to the front by the Saratov regional military commissariat on June 14, 1943. He fought as an intelligence man of the 768th Rifle Regiment of the 138th Rifle Carpathian Red Banner Order of Suvorov division. On November 8, 1943, he was shell-shocked. He was awarded of the Medal "For Courage". On Desember 31, 1943, being in combat protection of the Tyasmin river in the area of Novoselitsa-Subbotovo, acting together with the partisan detachment he participated in repelling the enemy's attack, where he showed personal courage inspired the rest of the soldiers. The attack was repulsed. On February 3, 1944, being a mounted liaison of the regiment commander with the division commander in the area of Kavunovka under heavy machine-gun and gun fire from enemy tanks, neglecting his life, he timely delivered a report, so that the enemy was damaged in manpower and Red Army soldiers repulsed enemy attack. Mikhail Eremeev was awarded of the Order of the Glory, 3rd Class. On September 19, 1944 in the battles for overcoming the Carpathian Mountains, in difficult terrain, fearlessly and courageously performing individual tasks of the division commander, he scouted the area with a length of 15 km. and personally cleared the mined areas, which made it possible for the fastest connection of the 768th Rifle Regiment with the Division. Mikhail Eremeev was awarded of the Order of the Red Star. On October 17, 1944, being in intelligence at night he fearlessly completed a combat mission and broke into the Szigeti. On December 2, 1944 during the intelligence operation he noticed a group of Madyar soldiers, attacked them and captured 10 soldiers. After the war, he served as a Psalmist in the Church of St. George in Sloboda village, Pervouralsky district, Sverdlovsk region. He was buried in the parish cemetery.
