Bogomolov Sergey Zakharovich
We have no right to forget the horrors of this war. We don't have the right to forget the soldiers who died for us to live now. In our family, there are people close and dear to me who defended their Homeland, family, for the sake of the future and for my sake, too. And I want to tell you about my great - great-grandfather-Bogomolov Sergey Zakharovich. Bogomolov Sergey Zakharovich was born in 1903 in the village of Begovatovo, Voznesensky district, Gorky region. My great-great-grandfather's family was large and friendly. In addition to him, the family had three other children. In 1923. my great-great-grandfather married Anna Avdeevna Tyurenkova, and the next year they had their first child, Ivan, and in 1930 their second son, Peter, was born. Vasily was born in 1932, and in early 1937 the long-awaited daughter Tatiana was born. To live and enjoy a young and strong family, but happiness was overshadowed by the outbreak of war. In 1941, my great-great-grandfather went to the front to defend his Homeland, his home, and his remaining wife and four children. The oldest of them was seventeen years old, and the smallest was four years old. In 1942, the eldest son of Sergei Zakharovich, Ivan, was taken to the front, who was not destined to return from the battlefield. Great-great-grandfather's battle path was long and difficult. But youth, character and luck helped to survive, and get back in line, and hear the Victory salutes. The front-line roads ended. A peaceful life awaited the soldier. Working days began and my great-great-grandfather took part in collective farm life - became the Chairman of the collective farm. My great-great-grandfather, Bogomolov Sergey Zakharovich, has long been gone, but we remember him, because, as the song says: "There is no family in Russia where the hero was not remembered, and the eyes of young soldiers, with photos of faded look. That look is like a high court. For the kids who are growing up now."
