Ageev Vasily Sergeevich was born on March 1, 1925 in St. Zakharkino village, Shemysheisky district, Penza region. Until 1943 he studied at school and worked in the "Free Labor" collective farm, Kondolsky District. Sergeant Ageev V.S. participant of the Patriotic War since October 1943. In the battles with the German invaders, he was seriously wounded and twice slightly wounded. He was awarded of 2 medals "For Courage", the Order of the Red Star and the Order of Glory, 3rd class. Serving as a gunner in the regiment, he has repeatedly shown an example of courage in the fight against the German invaders.
