Maltsev Yegor Grigorievich was born on January 19, 1912 in Brykovka village, Dukhovnitsky district, where he lived before the war. He served as tanker, Sergeant, in 10th separate Guards, Red Banner Order, Order of Suvorov Tank Brigade of 2nd Assult Army, of Western Kalinin Front and Volkhov Front. After injury he continued his service as repare mechanic. Awards: Medal “For Courage”; two Orders of "Red Star" - for breakthrough of Oryol-Kursk Bulge and for encirclement and destruction of Kurland group of armies; medal "For Victory over Germany 1941-1945"; "For development of virgin and fallow lands." After the war he returned to his home place.
