Samatoev Timofey Vasilievich (1909-1984)

Samatoev Timofey Vasilievich (1909-1984). Participant of the Second World War. He went to the front in August 1941, leaving at home 5 children, a wife and an elderly father. He fought on the Western Front, the North Caucasus, Belarus, Ukraine. During the war he was a telephone operator. Great-grandfather was seriously wounded and ended up in a military hospital in Essentuki. After recovering, he was again sent to the front, this time to the East. In the Far East, he fought with the Japanese and was again wounded. He got home only in 1946. My grandfather had awards "For Victory over Germany", "For Military Merit".
