Kazennov Nikolay Fedorovich. Born in 1924 in the village Mais. He graduated from seven classes and went to work on the railway. He was drafted to the front and sent to a tank school in Saratov. He went through the entire war to Berlin, signed on the walls of the Reichstag. He was a participant in the battles at the Kursk Bulge. He was wounded several times and returned to the front after the hospital. After the Victory he returned home with the rank of lieutenant. He died on June 8, 2003. Awarded: medals - "For Courage", "For Military Merit", "For the capture of Berlin", "For the liberation of Warsaw", "For Victory over" Germany "and the Order of the Red Star.
