ESIPOV SERGEY FEDOROVICH （1901-1943） with his wife. My great-grandfather Esipov Sergei Fedorovich was born in 1901 into a poor peasant family in the village Lomovoye, Ranenburgsky district, Ryazan province. After the arrival of Soviet power, he became the chairman of the local collective farm. When the Great Patriotic War began, great-grandfather Sergei Fedorovich was appointed a political commander, led the rifle division (90 SD). He was a member of the NKVD. He died in February 1943 near Leningrad.
