Bosov Alexey Petrovich

Alexey Petrovich Bosov (born March 21, 1910) - after training at the Ulyanovsk armored school in 1934, he received the rank of middle commander, served in the Trans-Baikal Military District. He held the positions of tank commander, tank platoon, company. The title of Hero of the USSR with the presentation of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal was awarded on November 17, 1939 for the courage and valor shown during the defeat of a large Japanese detachment near the Khalkin-Gol River. WWII found him within the walls of the Military Academy of Armored Forces. When the enemy approached Moscow, Captain Bosov asked to go to the front. Together with the legendary Panfilovites, he repulsed the fierce attacks of the fascists. November 18, 1941
