Ivan Ivanov - participant of the WWII. Born on June 17, 1906 in the village of Troshi, Krasnogorodsk district, Pskov region. Called to the mobilization front on December 15, 1941 by the Balkhash GVK Kazakh Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. From May 1942 to September 1942 - commander of the 269th rifle regiment of the 136th Rifle Division, from September 1942 to February 1943 - the squad leader anti-tank rifles of the 10th special ski brigade. On March 22, 1943, seriously wounded in the left arm, from March 1943 to June 1943 he was treated at the evacuation hospital No 998. From June 1943 to January 1945, he was the senior scribe of the 65th separate automobile regiment. He was dismissed from the reserve on 6 January 1946 with the rank of sergeant. For participation in The WWII he was awarded the medal "For Victory over Germany".
