Tikhon Dmitrievich Yekimov

Tikhon Dmitrievich Yekimov was born on 29 June 1917 in the village of Atrachi, Tyukalinsky district, Omsk region. In 1938 he was called up for service in the Red Army. He completed his compulsory service in Moscow. In 1941 he joined the Party. Left to fight with Nazi invaders at the front from the first days of the war. Served in the All-Russian Central Executive Committee troops. From 1944 to 1946 he liberated Western Ukraine from the Ukrainian insurgent army. He passed away on 17.07.1984.
