The photo shows my grandfather Reshetilo Nikifor Pavlovich (09/17/1923-1986) in the post-war years. He did not like to remember the war years and to make photo with awards. It was too hard for him to remember the war years. During the war he worked as a telephone operator. Many times my great-grandfather re-established contact and was an active participant in various battles. He was awarded of the Order of the Red Star, the Order of the Patriotic War 2nd Class, the Medal for Courage, the Medal “For the Capture of Könisberg”, the Medal “For the Capture of Berlin”, and the Medal “For the Capture of Warsaw”.
