Dekhonov. Alexey Dekhonov was born in 1915. He went to the front in 1941 from the village of Chernilshchikovo, Tomsk region. He fought in the Smolensk direction, was wounded and was treated in the Kaluga hospital. In 1942 he was seriously wounded again. After the hospital he was transferred to Moscow, to the Volokolamsk direction. On 7 November 1942, A.A. Dekhonov, a front-line soldier, participated in the historical parade of troops on Red Square in Moscow. He fought in the 2nd Red Army Corps of General Dovator. Together with him, he went twice to the rear of the Germans. Once again he was wounded and treated. In January 1943 he was conscripted from the army. He worked in the Army from 1964 to 1984, until he went on well-deserved rest.
