On September 19, 1943, the first partisan parade in the USSR was held in Orel. The parade was attended by delegations of almost all partisan formations of the Bryansk region - they represented more than 60 thousand partisans and partisans. Note: until July 5, 1944, the territory of the present Bryansk region was part of the Oryol region.
