Logvinov Andrey Borisovich was born on 10.10.1921 in the village of Rozhdestvenka, Timsky district, Kursk region. He is Veteran of Great Patriotic War, participant of Victory Day parades in Moscow. Having started his combat path in Ukraine (in June 1941), he finished in Berlin in May 1945 . He took part in the storm of the main residence of the enemy - Reichstag. He was awarded orders and medals, such as Order of Red Star, Order of Patriotic War of I and II class. He died on April 13, 2009. On the wall of the house on Sovetskaya Street, where A.B.Logvinov lived for many years, a "Memorial plaque" was installed in 2010. He was awarded title of "Honored Citizen of Pristensky District" in 2006.

When the war began, Pavel Fedotovich's father was drafted. In autumn war approached the village, the family was evacuated to Saratov region. In 1942 the eldest son Kolya turned 16. He was sent to city of Ulyanovsk to a tank school. After graduation he went to front. He took part in Berlin operation. He was awarded Order of Red Star and Order of Patriotic War, II class (posthumously). KIA on April 20, 1945. He sent photo to his father from tank school.

Shatskikh Dmitry Nikiforovich was born on November 7, 1907 in the village. Sine-Lipyagi, Khokholsky District, Voronezh Region. Before the war he worked on a collective farm. In 1941 he was called to defend the Motherland. He fought in Belarus near Brest, some of them were surrounded. For two months they fought out of the encirclement. We reached Voronezh, and with army units were sent to fight near Kursk. He was captured there, escaped and fought again, reached Poland. In 1944 he was seriously wounded - he tore off his left arm. He was treated for a long time in the hospital, and there he learned about the Victory. He had awards: "For Military Merit", the Order of the Red Star, the Order of the Patriotic War II degree, the medal "For Victory over Germany."
