Born on January 28, 1920, in Kamyshevakha stanitsa, Popasnyansky district, Donetsk region, into a working-class family. He participated in the Great Patriotic War and Soviet-Japanese War. In July 1941, he was admitted to the CPSU by the primary party organization of the 1st aviation squadron of the 98th Long-Range Aviation Regiment. Awarded with the orders “For Service in the Fatherland War” first class, “For Service in the Fatherland War” second class, “Red Star”, and medals “For Defence of Moscow,” “For Victory over Germany,” and “For Capture of Berlin.” From 1975 to 1981, he worked at the institute as head of special department. #NIRHTU

Arslanov Vali Arslanovich, born in 1900, native of Raevka village, Ufa Province. Accountant at MTS (Metallurgical Technical Station). Enlisted for frontline duty in August 1941. Served under Marshal Rokossovskiy. Awarded Order of the Red Star, Medal for Courage, Medals for Liberation of Sevastopol, Stalingrad, Czechoslovakia. Finished the war in Prague. Died in 1947 due to wounds sustained during combat, at home.

Чабдаров Ибрагим Базаевич, уроженец Черекского района КБР, летчик-испытатель 1-го класса, Заслуженный летчик-испытатель СССР. В период Великой Отечественной войны произвел 219 боевых вылетов, провел 51 воздушный бой, сбил 3 самолета лично и 3 в группе самолетов. После войны, за 25 лет работы в области лётных испытаний и исследований новой авиационной техники, совершил около 6500 вылетов на новых сверхзвуковых машинах, испытал 2400 истребителей «ЯК-9», «МИГ-15», «МИГ-17», «МИГ-19», «МИГ-21». И.Б. Чабдаров награждён орденами Отечественной войны II степени, Красной Звезды, медалями.
