Zornikov (Umnov) Alexander Pavlovich (August 23, 1914 Tomsk - January 21, 1971, Irkutsk) - the eldest son of Maria Amvrosimovna from his first marriage with the Cossack Umnov. As an adult, Alexander met his own father, the Cossack Umnov. This meeting was decisive. Alexander decided that from that day on he would be Zornikov, and took the last name and patronymic of his stepfather - Pavel Sergeevich Zornikov. In 1931, Sasha completed 6 classes. In 1932 he entered the 4th Military Technical School in Irkutsk. He graduated from it in 1933 - this was the first graduation from IVVATU (Irkutsk Higher Military Technical School), becoming a flight military engineer - technician. On December 20, 1933, he began to live in Omsk with his beloved girlfriend - Dmitrieva Lyudmila Iosifovna. A year later, on December 21, 1934, he first became the father of Arkady Alexandrovich. In 1937, on July 14, his daughter was born - Zornikova Alla Alexandrovna. Since that year, his mother began to live with them - Zornikova Maria Amvrosievna. He was a participant in the Second World War. But he did not like to talk about the war. We know little about his exploits. But all these little fragments are very important to us. For him, the war ended on May 11, 1945 in Czechoslovakia. They were transferred that day to another airport. The plane in which Alexander Pavlovich was flying was fired upon by the Nazis. After landing on the plane, more than 20 holes were found. General Sloboda presented the pilots and our grandfather with the Czechoslovak Cross "For Courage". Grandfather, having gone to the reserve, had the right to wear a military uniform. He served in the army for 25 years. He retired with the rank of major. Has awards. I chose the permanent place of residence in Irkutsk.

Peter Zakharov was born on 06.06.1906 (the day and month are inaccurate). He was born and grew up in Moscow, at 1/12 Ogareva Street. He worked before the draft and after the war in the "Russian electric community "Dynamo" (contemporary Moscow Electric Machine-Building Plant "Dynamo" named after S. Kirov). In August 1941, Peter was called up at the age of 35, in the ranks of the active army to fight the German invaders. He was enlisted in the 28th Tank Brigade (24.10.1941 — 07.02.1943). The brigade later became the 28th Guards Tank Brigade On October 22, 1941, the brigade concentrated in the Kubinka area and departed for the Western front on October 23, 1941. On October 25, 1941 it came under the operational control of the 16th Army. From October 26, 1941, it suffered significant losses in the battle for Skirmanovo. On November 21, 1941, the brigade entered the reserve of the 16th Army for replenishment and engaged in combat training. On March 25, 1942, the brigade was placed under the operational command of the 30th Army. On August 23, 1942, the brigade was withdrawn to the reserve of the Kalinin Front. On September 21, 1942, the brigade became part of the 39th Army and was busy with replenishment. On December 27, 1943, during an attack of Tiger tanks near the village of Sinyavki, one of them got stuck in a crater and was abandoned by the crew. Tankers of the 28th Guards Tank Brigade managed to pull it out and bring it to their position. The tank was completely serviceable, and the brigade command decided to use it in a combat. The crew of "Tiger" consisted of six people: a tank commander Guards Lieutenant Revyakin, the driver- Guard Petty Officer Kilivnik, commander of the gun — Guards Sergeant Ilichevsky, the commander of the turret guard Sergeant Codikow, gunner guard Sergeant Akulov. According to the brigade's documents, "the crew mastered it within two days. The crosses were painted over, and two stars were drawn on the turret instead and the word "Tiger" was written on it. The first battle of the captured tank was held on January 6, 1944, when, together with one T-34 and one T-70, it broke into the village of Sinyavki and, having dug in the tanks, held this locality for two days, allowing our infantry to gain a foothold on the achieved line.

Gorovoy Alexey Nikolaevich Gorovoy Alexey Nikolaevich, born in 1921, 1941-1942 – 2nd rank foreman, squad leader Artillery electricians of the base minesweeper “Garpun” ("Harpoon") of the defence of the sea area of the Main Base of the Black Sea Fleet.

Gorpischenko Pavel Filippovich Gorpishchenko Pavel Filippovich (1893-1943), 1941-1942 - Colonel, Commander of the 8th Marine Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet. He died on the Nikopol bridgehead on 11/28/1943.

Gorskiy Vladimir Petrovich Gorsky Vladimir Petrovich (1902-1942), 1941-1942 - Lieutenant Colonel, commander of the 61st Antiaircraft Artillery Regiment of the Air Defense of the Main Base of the Black Sea Fleet. Died 07/03/1942.

Danich Stepan Fedorovich Danich Stepan Fedorovich (1906-1942), 1941-1942 - Junior sergeant, commander of the 365th Antiaircraft Artillery Battery of the 110th Antiaircraft Artillery Regiment of the Air Defense of the Main Base of the Black Sea Fleet. He died on June 9, 1942.

Demidov Ivan Akimovich Demidov Ivan Akimovich (1897-1942), 1941-1942 - Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Central District Council of Working People's Deputies of the city of Sevastopol. He died at Cape Chersonesos in 1942.

Dmitriev Nikolay Ivanovich Dmitriev Nikolai Ivanovich (1915-1942), 1941-1942 - Senior Lieutenant, commander of the Artillery Battery No. 18 of the 3rd separate Artillery Battalion of the Coastal Defense of the Main Base of the Black Sea Fleet. He disappeared without a trace on 07/03/1942.
