Rotanova Anna Andreevna (worker in the rear) was born on February 10, 1929 in the village of Kormezhka, Balakovo region. Before the start of the war, she managed to finish 4 classes of a rural school. She was not even fourteen when she entered factory training and began working at the Saratov Heavy Machine Building Plant, where they produced shells. “The shift lasted for twelve hours. After work, we returned to the hostel. It was cold in the building, we had to heat the room, one by one. We ate poorly ”- Anna Andreevna recalls. After the war she stayed to work at the factory as a turner and got married. Later the family moved to live in Balakovo. She worked in the kindergarten of the Dzerzhinsky plant, then in the canteen. The general work experience of Anna Andreevna Rotanova is 54 years, for her conscientious work she was repeatedly awarded letters of thanks, letters of commendation, jubilee medals, the medal "For Valiant Labour in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945"
