During the war years, he worked at a collective farm, drove hay on a horse, delivered seeds to the fields and sowed them. From 1951 to 1956 Konstantin Alexeevich served in the group of Soviet troops in Germany. In 1956 he resigned in the rank of senior lieutenant. In 1960, he graduated from the Sverdlovsk Law Institute. In 1960, he graduated from the Vyshinsky Sverdlovsk Law Institute with a degree in jurisprudence and was awarded the qualification of lawyer. By the order of the Kemerovo regional court of August 2, 1960 as a young specialist who arrived at the judicial work to the Ministry of Justice of the RSFSR, Zhurikh K.A. was enrolled as an intern in the People's Court of the 1st section of the Central District of Kemerovo. Since October 1, 1960 Zhurikh K.A. was sent for an internship in the People's Court of 2 sections of the Anzhero-Sudzhensky area. In December 1960 Zhurikh K.A. was elected the people's judge of Anzhero-Sudzhensky district people's court of Kemerovo region. In December, 1965 Zhurikh K.A. was elected a member of the Kemerovo regional court where he worked in the judicial board on criminal cases. During his career in the Kemerovo Regional Court, Konstantin Alekseevich proved to be a well-prepared lawyer, was involved in the consideration of cases under the jurisdiction of the regional court of first instance, as well as the consideration of criminal cases on cassation and supervisory appeals and protests, constantly and actively provided assistance to people's judges of the courts assigned to him for the correct application of the law, took an active part in public life. He was a political propagandist of the seminar, was elected as a deputy chairman of the audit commission of the regional board of the "Znanie" company, was the chairman of the tourist council at the place of the regional court profiling, actively participated in legal propaganda, lectured on legislation, on religious cults, was repeatedly elected a member of the party organization of the regional court, was elected editor of the wall newspaper, was one of the best lecturers of the regional court. For his honest work, participation in public life and participation in the lecture work, K.A. Zhurikh was repeatedly awarded with honorary certificates and encouraged. By the decision of the Higher Qualification Board of Judges of the Russian Federation of March 23, 1994 he was awarded the first qualification class. In July 1994, K.A. Zhurikh was relieved of his duties as a member of the Kemerovo Regional Court, due to his written resignation.
