Suleimanov Askhat Nigmatulovich was born on June 1, 1923 in the village of Azovo, Arkhangelsk region of the Bashkir ASSR. He was called to the front of the Arkhangelsk Military Comissariat of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic on September 17, 1941. He had been part of the combats in the Great Patriotic War since December 18, 1943. He was a Senior Lieutenant, Commander of a mortar platoon of 2nd Mortar Company of 47th Rifle Gdansk Red Banner Regiment of 15th Rifle Sivash-Stettinskaya twice Red Banner Order of Lenin, the Orders of Suvorov and the Red Banner of Labor of the Ukrainian SSR Division. He had been a Communist party member since 1944 (party card No. 6314191). Awards: 1. Medal "For Courage" on October 7, 1944. After demobilization as a result of a second wound, Askhat Nigmatulovich worked as Chairman of the Tereklinsky village council of the Arkhangelsk region of the Bashkir ASSR, he retired in 1983. On April 6, 1985 he was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of 1st degree in honor of 40th anniversary of Victory Died on April 27, 1985. He was buried in the cemetery of the Azovo village.
