The Great Patriotic War

Khazov Mikhail Pavlovich is my great-grandfather. He was born in 1925 in the family of ordinary peasants Pavel and Pelageya Khazov. The family was large, there were 8 children. In 1937, my great-grandfather graduated from the 4th grade of school. There was no opportunity to study further in the village, it was necessary to help the parents. Great-grandfather began to work with his father on a collective farm. And then there was the war ... On January 4, 1943, the Pronsky district military registration and enlistment office of the Ryazan region, my great-grandfather was drafted into the Red Army. And, until the end of the war ... In the infantry from Moscow to Berlin ... On the front line ... He fought first as a signalman in a rifle regiment, then ended up in the artillery troops. And from August 15, 1943, until the end of the war, he was a scout of the 538th Army Mortar Regiment of the 33rd Army of the 3rd Belorussian Front. He was wounded three times, was in the hospital, but always did not complete his treatment and ran back to his regiment, to the front, to the front line ... At the front, my great-grandfather had a friend, Ivan Donskikh. A photo has survived, which he signed as a keepsake. Ivan Donskikh - Hero of the Soviet Union! I am proud of my great-grandfather! I am proud of his friend! As my mother says, of all the awards on May 9, my grandfather always wore only the medal "For Courage", treated her with great reverence and respect. Mikhail Pavlovich Khazov, a scout of the 1st battery of the Red Army, was awarded the Medal "For Courage" for the exemplary performance of the combat mission of the command on the front against the German invaders and for the valor and courage shown at the same time. On August 4, 1944, during the enemy counterattack in the Protspol region, together with the command platoon commander, he opened fire on the advancing enemy from his personal weapons and did not allow the Germans to reach the observation post. " My great-grandfather died in 2004. From my mother's stories I know a lot about him, I know about that terrible war, I know about the well-deserved and hard-won Victory of our people! The medal, documents and photographs of great-grandfather are our family heirlooms, which we cherish with great trepidation. And so it will be passed on from generation to generation, and the memory of my great-grandfather will live on! After all, if there was no Victory, then there would be no you and me! What could be more valuable than the memory of those terrible years and pride in our ancestors ?!

Hecheev Bembya Mandzhievich, was born in the village of Zeta, Svetloyarsk district, Volgograd region. In autumn 1938 he was drafted into the Red Army. He served in Mongolia. He showed himself in the army from the best side, so he was offered to study at the regimental school of commanders. He traveled many military roads, fought on the South, North Caucasian, Central and 1st Belorussian fronts. Khecheev, at the head of his platoon, fearlessly advanced to the enemy's trenches and, by personal example, raised the fighters in a swift attack and was the first to break into the settlement, thereby managing to capture the enemy's stronghold covering the approaches to the city of Frizak. During these battles, the platoon of the guard of Lieutenant Khecheev destroyed up to 60 soldiers and officers, suppressed 10 firing points and took 13 enemy soldiers and officers prisoner. By the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of May 15, 1946, Bemba Mandzhievich Khecheev was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. Demobilized from the army, he came to his relatives in the Kosikhinsky district, Altai Territory and returned to peaceful work. In the Republic of Kalmykia, the streets of cities and towns are named after Bambi Mandzhievich Khecheev. In the Gorodovikovsky district in the village of Chapaevskoye, a monument to him was erected at the school.

After demobilization he returned to his homeland. Died in January 1969.

Rank: Lieutenant. Type of troops: Artillery. Division: 17th Tank Division. Born in the village of Verkhnyaya Mara in a large family. A tall, handsome young man was well educated and respected not only by his peers, but also by his elders. He was drafted into the army on the eve of the warriors. Together with many of his peers from Karachai, he ended up in Western Belarus, where he served in the 257th artillery regiment of the 17th Panzer Transbaikal Artillery Division. After graduating from the regimental school, he became a sergeant and commanded a squad. His regiment entered the battle with the German fascists to the west of Minsk on June 24, 1941. A heavy battle ensued. The Germans overpowered with bomber aircraft, and there were no anti-aircraft installations in the regiment. Sergeant Major Khairkizov and his fighting friends repelled three attacks of the fascists. During the third attack, the platoon commander, Lieutenant Gushchin, dies a hero's death. Kichibatyr Khairkizov became the platoon commander. By lunchtime in the 257th regiment, there were only 3 guns in three divisions. A lot of soldiers were killed. Khairkizov tirelessly fired from the one remaining cannon. He is a commander, a gunner and a gunner. In the Khairkizov division, no one was left alive, and a fighter from another division brought him shells. Fighters from other divisions of the division fought in the same difficult conditions. It soon became clear that, despite their desperate resistance, the Nazis went around on the flanks and closed the encirclement ring. At night, the remnants of the division (20-23 people) gathered, led by one of the staff officers, and decided to try to break through the encirclement. Kichibatyr Khairkizov, when he came to the dugout of the headquarters, found there five seriously wounded soldiers and a nurse. She bandaged a through wound in Khairkizov's shoulder and reported in which direction the others had gone. He went after his comrades in arms. By the end of the night Kichibatyr reached the forest and began to make his way further. He was overcome by pain in his shoulder, hunger, fatigue, sleep. He sat down to rest - he could not sleep, there was no strength to get up. In the evening I fell asleep, and woke up early in the morning to a bird song. He took out a map, got his bearings and decided to head east through a dense forest, where the Germans would not pass, and go out to his own. I went along a barely noticeable path onto a small road, and then ended up at the house of the forester Ignat. The forester advised Khairkizov to rest, gather strength, and then make his way to his own. He spent three days with the forester. Ignat provided the warrior with food, and on the fourth day Kichibatyr set off on the road. I followed the route suggested by the forester. I got to a small farm. He decided whether to turn there or pass by. Suddenly he noticed the rustling and swaying of the branches of the bush, became alert, prepared to shoot. Khairkizov noticed a rifle barrel aimed at him. Both paused and began talking. Before him is the same encirclement, making his way to his own, moreover, it turned out to be his fellow countryman - Yunus Karaketov. They were delighted and decided to make their way together. It was not far from Minsk near Borisov. They managed to find out that the Germans passed these places. They learned that the Nazis were driving captured Soviet soldiers to the West along these roads. We decided to act without wasting time. They lay in wait for the convoy: five fascists escorted about 70-80 Soviet prisoners of war. In the forest, in a convenient place, they organized an ambush. When the column approached closer, three fascists were killed by Kichibatyr Khairkizov and Yunus Karaketov, and the other two were quickly destroyed by the prisoners themselves. Then 55 Soviet prisoners of war were freed north of Borisov. They were not taken prisoner, but to be shot. The activities of the two partisans began to instill fear in the Nazis. For their capture, the German Gestapo appointed a substantial monetary bonus and two cows. Friends became known in the Borisov area under the names "Lenya Cherny" (K. Khairkizov) and "Kolya Cherny"; (Yu. Karaketov). In one of the battles, when they had to fight together against a whole platoon of Germans, partisans from Leonov's brigade, led by the commander himself, came to the rescue. The Nazis were defeated, and both friends from that day joined the brigade of the captain (senior political instructor), who soon became a lieutenant colonel, Vasily Sergeevich Leonov. Kichibatyr Khairkizov and Yunus Karaketov were the organizers of the first two partisan detachments of the Leonov brigade. In these units, at first there were 60-70 fighters each, later it became more. In 1943, the number of partisans in the brigade exceeded 800 people. These were soldiers who made their way out of the German encirclement, freed with the help of the first partisans, former German prisoners of war, etc. For the effective organization of activities in 1943, the partisans were divided into six groups. Weapons workshops, reconnaissance units, food detachments, groups for liaison with nearby settlements, etc. were equipped. In the fall of 1942, Khairkizov's detachment attacked a distillery, which was carefully guarded by the Nazis.Several tasks were immediately solved: the first - the partisans showed that they were capable of performing the most difficult combat operations, the second - they procured a lot of weapons and ammunition for the detachment, the third - they provided the hospital with alcohol. The guards of the plant were basically liquidated, they captured rich trophies of war - 30 rifles, 5 boxes of cartridges, more than a hundred grenades, explosives and much more. Then the plant was blown up. After that, Khairkizov's detachment attacked the Vyatno railway station. They fired at a train with German soldiers and officers. Meanwhile, the partisans were attacked by fascists from the nearby garrisons. A heated battle ensued. The partisans managed to disable the water pumping station and the telephone and telegraph communication system, disrupt the system for regulating and divorcing trains, and exterminate many fascists. The partisans seized 3 cars, loaded them with food, and blew up the warehouses. Khairkizov was simultaneously the commander of one of the partisan detachments, the chief of intelligence and the deputy commander of the Leonov brigade. He led the brigade's most responsible combat operations, took part in major battles with punitive forces. He carefully studied the maps, the terrain and was very well oriented: which path to go where, from where enemies might unexpectedly attack, etc. By the spring of 1943 near Khairkizov, the number of partisans in the detachment exceeded 100 people. He made frequent and unexpected raids. Once, during an attack on the Nazis, his detachment destroyed 90 Nazis. The Germans realized that they would not have peace if they did not destroy the partisans. They removed an entire regiment from the front, reinforced it with police units. These units were sent to the Senninsky and Chashnitsky districts, where the partisans of the Leonov brigade operated. However, liaison brigades from settlements timely notified the partisans about the impending punitive act. The partisans prepared well, set up an ambush, surrounding the fascists from all sides. In this battle, one tank and two armored personnel carriers were burned, 150 fascists were destroyed, and many more were wounded. The punishers, realizing their helplessness, retreated. And in this battle Khairkizov Kichibatyr commanded his detachment and managed to fulfill the duties of the deputy brigade commander. Detachment Khairkizov in the second half of 1942 to the first half of 1943 derailed 7 enemy trains. They, with their commissar M.I. The Mazovtsevs bypassed, personally examined the border of the detachment and, with the consent of the brigade commander, strengthened it as a state border. So, in the first half of 1943, the detachment exterminated 400 fascists who wanted to break through to the territory where the partisan detachment was stationed. At one of the meetings of the headquarters, Khairkizov said: "We must make sure that the enemy does not dare to stick his head out of his garrison. And we must strike more organized and strong blows against their garrisons." Through his contacts, he manages to recognize and neutralize the fascist provocateur Ilya Kozachenko, who was sent by the Nazis to eliminate Khairkizov, as the most dangerous partisan commander. Under the leadership of Kichibatyr Khairkizov, a whole series of remarkable operations were prepared and successfully implemented, over 50 German soldiers and officers were personally killed by Khairkizov in military operations against the fascist invaders. The commander and chief of staff of the brigade more than once celebrated his military exploits, entrusting the most important tasks. Kichibatyr more than once led the brigade to carry out a combat mission and always came out of fights with victory. He carried out the most risky operations with composure, was a master of partisan battles and came up with dizzying tricks, looked for moves unexpected for the enemy. Here is one of the episodes of his combat life. The fascist security service, with the help of traitors, revealed many partisan messengers and scouts. The Gestapo carried out a massive raid in the brigade's area of operation. 29 patriots were arrested. They were put in a prison in the village of Vyatno, tortured, hoping to get information from them about partisans and underground fighters by force. All partisans were doomed to be shot. Kichibatyr turned to the brigade commander with a request to allow him to release the prisoners. Leonov agreed with his plan of operation, and Kichibatyr set off in broad daylight with a group of partisans to Vyatno. Some of them were disguised as policemen, who allegedly brought a dozen of those arrested in two trucks. Kichibatyr, introducing himself as the senior of the convoy, told the guards to accept the arrested. When they began to examine the papers, the partisans finished them off with knives, freed their comrades and took them in two trucks to the forest to the partisan base. Khairkizov led the rout of the police garrison in Podvoretsk, an ambush near the village of Marintsa, where 18 SS men were killed. The combat description of the brigade command says that Kichibatyr Khairkizov was a thunderstorm for the Germans. Never knew fear. He was twice wounded, but did not agree to leave his duties. Moreover, he always went into battle ahead of the attackers, showing an example of personal courage and courage, inspiring the partisans with his example. You are not careful, you will hit a bullet! "- the brigade commander warned him more than once. But Kichibatyr did not think about caution. He fought like a horseman, and died like a horseman. Colonel VA Nezhinsky in his book" Soldiers die with weapons " "The partisans were" cites the following document about the last battle of Kichibatyr on June 8, 1943: "On June 8, 1943, Khairkizov received information that a convoy of punishers was moving along the highway from the village of Novo-Belitsa to Senno. Khairkizov was taken by the partisan detachment of Comrade. Pashchenko, organized an ambush in the forest in the area north of the village of Koroli and mined the highway. When the front car exploded and the highway was closed, the squad ran into the enemy. More than 25 Germans were killed and many were wounded. The battle lasted about 2 hours. The Nazis defended themselves fiercely. Raising the partisans to attack, Khairkizov was killed. The detachment began to withdraw from the battle, not having time to collect trophies. "The hero was buried with military honors by the entire brigade and local residents in the village of Kamenshina, Chashnitsa district, Vitebsk region, where there were no occupiers at that time. It was very hard for Kichibatyr's relatives, especially him friend and countryman Yunus Karaketov, who took an oath at the grave of a friend to avenge the death of his countryman. But he himself died exactly a year later. Both fighters died without learning about the monstrous atrocities against their people - Karachais, their relatives and friends. K. Khairkizov was awarded in 1943 with the Order of the Red Banner. Their subsequent submissions to high awards after the expulsion of the Karachais were not considered. The archival certificate of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus No. 3504 dated November 24, 1994 states: "For personal courage and heroism shown in the struggle against the German fascist invaders in March 1943. Khairkizov K.A. by the command of the Sonno Brigade, he was nominated for the title of Hero of the Soviet Union (the original of the award list is kept in the NARB). This is also confirmed in the letter of the Director of the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War dated November 22, 1994, No. 5/386, addressed to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Karachai-Cherkess Republic, V.I. It notes: "As evidenced by the documents stored in the museum's funds, the Karachai partisans in the difficult conditions of the occupation showed exceptional courage, internationalism, boundless devotion to the Motherland. They made a worthy contribution to the struggle of the people's avengers for the liberation of their native land from the Nazis. In the names of the famous partisans Osman Kasayev, Yunus Karaketov, Kichibatyr Khairkizov were named partisan detachments. The peoples of Karachay-Cherkessia can rightfully be proud of them. It is further emphasized that Khairkizov K.A. was also nominated for the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. However, justice in relation to Kichibatyr Khairkizov was very late, but it triumphed. By the decree of the President of the Russian Federation BN Yeltsin of October 5, 1995. "For courage and heroism shown in the struggle against the Nazi invaders in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945" awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation (posthumously) Khairkizov Kichibatyr Alimurzaevich. Khairk Izov K.A. in 1996, a monument was erected in his native village.

Rank: Senior Lieutenant. Type of troops: Armored and mechanized troops. Subdivision: 323rd Rifle Bryansk Red Banner Order of Suvorov Division. My grandfather, Khatyushin Vladimir Ivanovich was born in the village of Khochutino, Meshchevsky District, Kaluga Region. February 17, 1924 in a large peasant family. His father was a carpenter and often went to work in big cities. And the mother with all the children remained on the farm. Although it was difficult, everyone went to school and learned to read and write, and in the summer, during the holidays, Volodya worked with the village guys on the collective farm. In 1941, when the Great Patriotic War began, he just finished 9th grade. Many at that time thought that the war would cost "little blood" and would end in a couple of months. But in October 1941, fascist tanks rumbled under their native village. And in February 1942, as soon as my grandfather turned 18, he went to fight almost from the threshold of his home. Young literate guys were attached to the 205th regiment of the 10th army, which held the defense of Moscow. Military science training proceeded right on the spot at an accelerated pace - only a month and a half. The science of dying and winning was mastered not only in theory, but also in practice - the enemy was striving for Moscow. After training, Sergeant Vladimir Khatyushin was assigned to the 330th Infantry Division, which was located in the Bryansk forests. There passed the line of defense of Moscow, there my grandfather, in the position of assistant platoon commander, took his first battle. Vladimir Ivanovich received his first award, the Medal For Courage, for the battles near Bryansk, when a bullet struck the platoon commander and he took over command, having managed to overcome the fear of the advancing armada of tanks and lead the soldiers into the attack. The young platoon commander was hot and the first to rise from the trench when the attack began. There he was wounded, near Bryansk. The old soldier who carried him from the battlefield said: “Don't get excited. A bullet is the easiest to hit. You try to survive and defeat the enemy. " My grandfather remembered this advice for a long time and then always followed it. After the hospital, he ended up in the 29th Guards Tank Shock Brigade of the 323rd Bryansk Red Banner Rifle Division. The brigade was thrown into different places, where it was most difficult, where it was necessary to make a decisive blow - to stop the enemy's advance. That's what she and the shock brigade. In one of these battles, the tank on which Vladimir Ivanovich was riding was hit by an enemy shell. The car immediately caught fire. Almost everyone who sat at the top of the tank burned out on the battlefield with a candle. My grandfather survived but was wounded. With this shock tank brigade, he reached Berlin itself, passing through Russia, Belarus, Poland, Germany in battles. The second award - the Medal for Military Merit - was received for the distinction in the battle during the crossing of the Sozh River near Gomel. The first Order of the Red Star - for the battles near the Belarusian cities of Rogachev and Zhlobin. The second Red Star is beyond the Vistula. Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd degree - for battles on the Seelow Heights. Medals "For the liberation of Warsaw", "For the capture of Berlin" speak for themselves. But among them all the same the most expensive remained the very first - the medal "For Courage" - the highest distinction of soldier's valor. In 4 years he learned how to fight and always remembered the advice of the old soldier: not only to complete a combat mission, but also to save the people who are under your command. In 1946, having demobilized, he returned to his native village. He worked as a foreman of a tractor brigade, a mechanic on a collective farm. He married my grandmother. She pushed him to the idea of getting a higher education. For more than 20 years he worked as the head teacher of industrial training in his native school, engaged in labor education of schoolchildren. Outbuildings, a school garden, a monument to graduates who died in the war - all this is connected with the name of my grandfather, because it began on his initiative. Vladimir Ivanovich passed away on May 19, 2003 at the age of 75. I am proud to bear his name.

Rank: Senior Lieutenant Type of Troops: Coastal Defense and Air Defense Artillery, Coastal Units, Aviation of the RKKF and the Naval Forces of the NKVD Border Troops My father Hondo Ilya Solomonovich was born on March 10, 1914 in the small Crimean town of Karasubazar, now - Belogorsk. In 1935 he graduated from the Pedagogical Institute, worked as a physics teacher, school director. During active service in 1938 he received a military education in the field of radio engineering and was certified with the rank of junior lieutenant in the reserve. He participated in the Second World War in communication units of the Black Sea Fleet Air Force from the first days of the war, was the commander of a radio company, a communication company of the Black Sea Fleet Air Force, providing radio communications for flight units at the airfields of the Crimea and the Caucasus. From the scanty lines of the surviving award lists, I learned that my father was in charge of the combat work of the signalmen: "in the conditions of fierce bombing, he ensured the uninterrupted operation of radio facilities, without loss of personnel and equipment, he organized relocation to the Caucasus. Having extensive experience in training communications specialists, he formed a communications company and managed in a short period of time to train more than a hundred qualified signalmen, who, until the last day of the defense of Sevastopol, served the flight units. During the period of the most active operation of enemy aviation in Novorossiysk and Anapa, he personally went to the communication line for direct command of the personnel. In August 1942, during the defense of Novorossiysk, when the electric line communication of the Black Sea Fleet Air Force operational group and the command post of the 62nd Air Division with airfields was systematically disrupted , excellently provided radio communication and at the same time found underground telephone cables through Novorossiysk, thereby ensuring continuous stable communication with the Cape Khako, Gaiduk and others airfields. At the Gelendzhik airfield, he provided excellent communications for the combat missions of the 13th Red Banner Guards Aviation Regiment to destroy enemy ships during the liberation of the Crimea and Sevastopol from the Nazi invaders. "

Rank: Colonel Branch: Ground Forces, Air Force (except naval aviation), coastal service, NKVD troops, border troops Subdivision: 63rd Infantry Division (1st formation) Before the war, from 1939 to 1941, he worked as a military engineer in the Far East; airfields in 41 built coastal batteries on the island of Osmusuar. In the fall of 41 he was evacuated to Kronstadt and until May 45. He fought in the 63rd Guards Division of the Leningrad Front. He ended the war as the commander of the 192nd Guards Regiment with the rank of colonel. In 46 he entered the General Staff Academy and worked at the district headquarters. Demobilized for health reasons. Then he worked as the head. Military Department Moscow Aviation Institute. The last 20 years of his life he worked as head. Educational part of Moscow State Automobile and Road Technical University. He died on May 9, 1981. Major Grigory Silantievich Kholoshnya commanded the 192nd regiment, replacing Yakov Ivanovich Kozhevnikov. Simonyak remembered him from August 1941, when our sailors brought the garrison of Osmusaar Island to Hanko. Lieutenant Kholoshnya was among the commanders. He did not look like a cadre. Introducing himself to the brigade commander, he raised his hand to the cap, sticking out his fingers awkwardly. The tunic hung like a sack over his shoulders. Glittering glasses covered his eyes. Simonyak then was surprised to learn that the youthful lieutenant had already graduated from the institute and was building fortifications on Osmusaar. Kholoshnya was sent to Kozhevnikov. Before our very eyes, he turned into a collected, strong-willed officer. He was transferred to the battalion headquarters, from there to the regiment headquarters. When Kozhevnikov was taken to the division, he said to Simonyak: - There is no need to look for a better person to command the regiment than Holoshnia. Big he is clever! In a difficult battle near Narva, Kholoshnya justified this assessment. And the regiment was well prepared for the upcoming operation. But just before the attack - such a nuisance. “Encourage him,” the corps commander said to Shcheglov. - Dyachenko has already gone there. The front edge of the hull was twelve to seventeen kilometers from the Sestra River. The river whimsically meandered through the hollows, among the dense forests. It is not very good, but it is difficult to cross: the banks are steep, the approaches are under fire. From the very beginning of the battle, when the corps troops rushed forward and in twenty minutes left behind four lines of enemy trenches, Simonyak's gaze, sliding across the map, more and more often stopped on the blue ribbon of the river. The corps commander mused today to step behind Sister, to seize the bridge, the village of Yappilya - that would be like a guard! Two divisions of the corps were advancing - the 45th and 63rd. 64th was in the second echelon. Cheerful reports came from Putilov and Shcheglov. The enemy is stunned, crushed by the blows of our artillery and aviation, by the friendly onslaught of the guards. The front commander called and inquired about how things were going. - Good. The Finns have not come to their senses yet. The regiments have already advanced four kilometers in places. "Don't our planes bomb you anymore?" - No. Fortunately, they scared more than they hurt. The red arrows on the corps commander's map were moving away from the former leading edge every hour. In the forests, near the lake defiles, at the crossroads, fleeting fights and sometimes violent battles took place. Guardsmen overturned enemy screens and rushed forward. Their actions were influenced by the great school of war, the experience gained in the battles of breaking through the multi-lane defense. Of the divisions, they only reported on the lines reached, occupied by the regiments of strong points. But what was behind the mean words of encrypted messages? The radio wave brought the commander of the 192nd regiment the broken voice of the battalion commander Petrov: - I am at the height - Do not linger. I follow. Kholoshnya, adjusting his glasses, named the place of his new command post - Zabolotye. The village with this name was occupied by the company of Captain Lvov. After being seriously wounded near Pulkovo, Alexei Lvov spent a long time in the hospital. He returned to the regiment before the battles. And again he led his submachine gunners forward. The company overtook the rifle lines, rounded the Zabolotye in the forest, attacked the Finns from the flank. Petty Officer Ivan Isaichev, a veteran of the regiment, a Khank sniper, suddenly appeared in their rear with his platoon. The hostile garrison was almost completely destroyed. The submachine gunners captured three heavy guns. - What to do with the prisoners? - Lvov asked. - Hold, I'll be there soon, - the regiment commander answered. Kholoshnya did not stay long in Zabolotye. I looked at the first prisoners and found out which division they were from. Finnish soldiers glanced sideways at the Soviet soldiers and officers, they had not yet come to their senses from the experience, as one of them said, - Send to the division headquarters, - Kholoshnya ordered the company commander to Lvov. -Come forward to the Sister! Overtake Petrov. Streshinsky MP "General Simonyak"

“This story does not describe heroic deeds, but I think there are a lot of such in our country. Branch of the service: ground forces, air force (except naval aviation), coastal service, NKVD troops, border troops. Khafizov M.Z. is my great-grandfather, he went to the front, wrote several letters, and disappeared in 1942. There was no information about him to this day, but thanks to the Memorial WBS we managed to find out that he fought and was taken prisoner on 07/09/1942 near the village of Kantimirovka, then sent to the transit camp Stalag VI K (326) , and later - to the work camp Stalag XI-B Fallingbostel, where he died on 02/23/1943. His wife, Hafizova Hafiz, died, but all her life she did not believe in his death and tried to find him. But here is his daughter, Akhmetshina (Khafizova) Gulsum Miniakhmetovna (my grandmother), in good health, and there was no limit to her joy from the news she received - any news, albeit sad, still “warms the soul”. An interesting fact is that my grandmother was the last person who saw, remembered my father alive, since she, with her younger brother, ran furtively before being sent to the front to the place of gathering of soldiers, to the school of junior sergeants, my father went out to them, talked, showed the rifle youngest son. And decades later, she became the only one who received the news of his death (the wife and son had died by this time). And, thanks to the pedantry of the Germans, we also have a photograph of the grandfather from his prisoner of war card, the date of his birth (no one remembered it anymore), the date of death and the place of burial. Now, on February 23, we celebrate not only the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland, but also honor the memory of our great-grandfather, grandfather, father - Private Khafizov Miniahmed Zaripovich, who gave his life for our Motherland. " Remember and Proud !!!

My father went to war on the very first day, leaving my mother with four children. The smallest was only two months old. Miraculously survived and never told us children about the horrors through which he went. But once the film "The Fate of a Man" was brought to our village. After watching it, my daddy with tears in his eyes told that he had experienced everything about what was shown in the film on himself! Once at the front at the very beginning, they, the soldiers, for some reason did not have enough weapons, there was practically nothing to defend themselves with, and therefore the Nazis captured them and loaded them into wagons. He and a friend made a hole and jumped off on the move, but unfortunately unsuccessfully, broke his collarbone and lost consciousness. The Nazis found them in the forest, beat them very much, beat his comrade to death. So he again ended up in captivity, where for a week people were not given either water or food. When they were driven to another camp, and there were puddles on the road after the rain, many fell to drink and could no longer get up, they were immediately shot by the Nazis, and my ass only moistened my mouth with water, because I understood that if I fell into a puddle, then I would not will rise. So he ended up in captivity in Germany, I don't remember in which concentration camp. Since he was young and strong, the local Germans took him to auxiliary work, thanks to which he survived. Once the Germans drank and decided to make fun of him, poured him a full glass of vodka and said drink, he refused the snack, they also drank a second glass for him and again refused a snack, they drank him a third and again, and again refused a snack. The Germans tell him Stalin is kaput, and my daddy tells them "nicht Hitler kaput!" Of course, if these were not ordinary Germans, he would have been shot right there. He says that there was so much hatred in his entire body that he did not take any hops, and at the same time he really believed in our VICTORY not for a second did not doubt! He returned home with poor health, but like all that generation, he worked tirelessly on a collective farm for a workday which, in fact, cost nothing, that is, everything was aimed at restoring our Motherland. Together with my mom, they kept a household to feed their five children. When the war began, dad was 30 years old, and mom was 29, but despite the horrors they had to endure during the war, they endured all the hardships of the post-war period. They did not harden, but instilled in us, their children, a sense of responsibility, hard work, benevolence, purposefulness, decency.

Born on November 16, 1916 in the village of Iske Kesher in the territory of the modern Sarmanovsky district of Tatarstan. Having behind him a seven-year school and work experience on a collective farm, in 1935 he moved to Kazan, where, earning his living by working as a digger, a year later he successfully passed the exams at the technical school of Soviet trade. Here he showed himself as a public activist - he took part in literary and musical evenings, went in for sports, was the head of a circle of shooters. After graduating from the technical school, Zinnat Khasanov began working as a commodity expert in Kirov. Three months later he was drafted into the army and sent to courses for junior command personnel. In July 1941, with the rank of lieutenant, he was sent to the front. Commanding a company in the battles near Moscow, Zinnat Khasanov was captured. In the summer of 1942, in the Demblin camp, he met and became friends with Gaynan Kurmashev, and through him with Musa Jalil. In the Idel-Ural legion, Zinnat Khasanov, on the instructions of the underground workers, distributed propaganda leaflets. Later he became a liaison between Jedlin and Berlin. Together with other Jalilovites, he was arrested in August 1943 for underground activities in the Idel-Ural legion. In February 1944, the Second Imperial Court of Germany sentenced Zinnat Khasanov to death. The verdict was carried out in the Pletzensee prison on the guillotine on August 25, 1944 at 12:30. By the decree of the President of the USSR of May 5, 1990, Zinnat Khasanov was posthumously awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree - for courage and heroism, active underground activity against the German fascist invaders.
