Rank: Red Army soldier. Branch of the service: Ground Forces, Air Force (except naval aviation), coastal service, NKVD troops, border troops. Division: 378th Infantry Novgorod Red Banner Division. 03/20/1942 Krapivin Semyon Mikhailovich was drafted by the Maslyansky Military Commissariat of the Omsk region of the Maslyansky district. But he does not go to the front, but to the so-called "labor army" in Omsk. ... Conditions in the "labor army" were inhuman. Hard physical work of loading and unloading trains, terrible food and damp, cold barracks, in which the hair froze to the pillow overnight. All these factors influenced the fact that after 1.5 months Semyon Krapivin wrote a statement that he would be taken to the front as a volunteer. And now my great-grandfather is already a Red Army soldier. He ended up on the Leningrad Front, in the location of the 378th Infantry Division, which had just emerged from the encirclement in the notorious Myasny Bor and was being re-formed. Semyon Mikhailovich gets into a reconnaissance company. And then there was a "school of intelligence officers", where recruits were taught hand-to-hand combat techniques, the German language, and great attention was paid to physical training. And there were in the biography of the great-grandfather and captured "tongues" and reconnaissance in force, and removed under enemy fire mines. With particular excitement I hold in my hands a copy of the Award sheet. "On December 11, 1943, Comrade Krapivin, participating in the reconnaissance for the capture of a control prisoner in the area of the village of Tereim, Novgorod District, Leningrad Region and being in a barrage group, Comrade Krapivin, against enemy fire, made a passage through the enemy's minefield five meters wide, filmed at the same time 8 mines on the left flank of the object of the attack. After that he joined the covering group, where he killed three Germans. For personal courage and courage displayed in the performance of a combat mission, Comrade Krapivin deserves to be awarded the medal "For Courage." 03/06/1944 great-grandfather was seriously wounded, after long-term treatment in the hospital he was discharged and returned home.

Rank: Sergeant Branch: Ground Forces, Air Force (except naval aviation), coastal service, NKVD troops, border troops Subdivision: 193rd Infantry Dnieper Order of Lenin Red Banner Orders of Suvorov and Kutuzov Division. My grandfather Alexey Filippovich Krutilin was born on March 30, 1909 in the village. Pletnevka, Volsky district, Saratov region. Called up by the Volsky GVK, Volsk, Saratov region. Sergeant Krutilin Alexey Filippovich began to fight in January 1943. During his stay in the division, he works on communication between the rear of the division and the higher headquarters. During offensive battles, when headquarters quickly move from one place to another, Comrade. Krutilin quickly searches for a new location for the high headquarters and there was no case that he did not deliver operational documents to the high headquarters on time. The riding horse attached to it at the fronts and army reviews received a good rating. During offensive operations, the horse attached to it retained its combat capability. Alexey Filippovich was nominated for a government award - the medal "For Military Merit". He was also awarded the medal "For the victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War in 1941-1945." After the end of the war, grandfather returned home alive. I did not find my grandfather, because I was born after his death. From the memoirs of Galina's daughter, Alexey Filippovich worked in the village of Shikhany-2. According to her, her father was a strict, fair and responsible person. Aleksey Filippovich Krutilin died on February 1, 1958. He was buried in the cemetery in the village of Shikhany-2, Volsky District, Saratov Region.

Title: Red Army soldier I remember how dad went to the front. (Memories of Verstakova's daughter Anna Sergeevna). Our memory is arranged in an interesting way. I am 80 years old, I can not remember what happened two days ago, but I remember the day when my father went to war to the smallest detail. I was 7 years old. That day changed my whole life. Dad did not return from the war and I still miss him. War is the most terrible human sorrow. We lived in the village. Sabanakovo, Kilemarsky district of the Mari ASSR. My dad, Sergey Andreevich Kartunov, worked as the head of the forest area. The place is very beautiful. Near the river Kokshaga. The forest and the river were our breadwinners. They lived poorly, but happily because love reigned in the house. Our parents loved us very much and treated each other with great love. Mom did not call dad any other than Serezhenka, but he called her - Arisha. Their love has been tested. In their youth, they lived in the Gorky region. On that terrible day in early August 1941, my mother went into the forest in the morning for raspberries and by noon she came with a full bucket of sweet berries. We surrounded the bucket in a merry crowd and began to feast on raspberries. And dad was sitting by the window sad. Mom asked: - "Seryozhenka, what happened?" He replied that he had been handed a summons to the front and tomorrow at 8 am he should be on the Red Bridge. People are being gathered there to be sent to the front. ... In the evening my mother put us to bed. I couldn't sleep at night. Mom cried all night. In the morning, mom asked dad if it was necessary to wake up the children to say goodbye. He said: “Don't, Arisha, let them sleep. Take care of them. The war will end soon, I'll be back in two or three months. I heard everything through a dream, but I did not get up to say goodbye, I did not understand yet, because of my age, everything that had fallen on us. In the evening, mom comes barefoot and covered in dust. She hugged us and cried. And she began to tell how she saw off her father. They began to wait for news from dad. The first triangle of the letter comes, where he says that he is fighting in the battles for Moscow. Letters were rare. Every time we were glad that dad was alive. And one day a postcard came from the hospital. He wrote that he was wounded in the shoulder. Dad was cured and sent back into battle. For a long time there was nothing and again a postcard from the hospital, where dad wrote that he was wounded in both legs and left shoulder, it was not dangerous, that when he recovered, he would write. Recently my daughter found information about her father on the Internet on the Memorial website. It lists all of his wounds, which were fatal. They brought us a funeral, where it is written that dad died of wounds on 12.1142, cremated, buried near the walls of the Kremlin. At that time, they probably wrote to everyone like that. The battles were terrible for Moscow, many of our soldiers died. We also found the exact address of the burial of the ashes on the Memorial website. My generation went through a terrible war, rebuilding a destroyed country. Yes, we were left without fathers, there was no support. I had to rely only on myself. My husband's father, too, died from front-line wounds. From the age of 12, my husband plowed the land on bulls (all the horses were sent to the front) on the collective farm. He was the eldest in the family. It was necessary to raise 5 brothers and sisters. We started our lives with one suitcase and a pillow. They wandered in rented apartments and barracks, and received a separate apartment when the children were already big. Well, we have such a fate. There is no need to regret it. There was youth, there were many happy moments. We achieved everything ourselves, raised wonderful children. I only regret one thing that I did not say goodbye to my dad then, on that terrible day in August 1941.

CITY: Znamenskoye village, Oryol region HISTORY: Maria Efimovna Leonova was born in 1936. Mother worked on the collective farm tirelessly. Everything that was collected from the fields was sent to the front, leaving the very minimum for themselves. In the village of Znamenskoye, where Maria Efimovna lived, there were women and children, all the men were taken to the war. Later, an armless soldier returned from the front, and there were several old men. The children also had a hard time. In the morning they went to school, and after school they ran to help the adults. In winter, the children gathered around the village, mounted their horses and rode into the forest. They sawed, chopped firewood, collected brushwood. Many of them froze their hands and face during this harsh season. The frosts were strong. In the evenings, everyone gathered at home: knitted, sewed, and then they collected everything and sent their relatives to the front. They worked in the fields: they collected hay, straw; sheaves knitted, mothers threshed grain. Children's hands were swollen from overwork and thorny weeds. She recalls: “They took our fathers to the front, from someone they returned home, and someone received a funeral. We kept a cow - we had to give away butter, meat, planted potatoes - and we gave away starch, and we paid off with fresh potatoes, and the chopped noodles and dried ones were taken from us for the front. And spring will come, quinoa and nettles are ripening, and my brother will catch the fish. Flour was given in 5 kg for 10 days, but nothing was spared for the front. As I remember all this, tears run. " After the war she worked as a forester in the Bolotovsky forests. Now he lives 2 kilometers from the village of Novy Sinets in the village of Berezui. Everyone knows her and her name is Baba Masha. She is a local "healer", people come to her from different regions for treatment, that is, even now Maria Efimovna, being in old age, benefits people.
