He took the military oath on February 23, 1944. Participated in the great Patriotic war as part of the 805th assault aviation regiment, as a master of arms. He served in the 4th air army, which was formed in may 1942 at the southern front air force base. From the summer of 1944 until may 1945, it was part of the 2nd Belorussian front. My grandfather participated in the Belorussian, East Prussian, East Pomeranian, and Berlin offensives. More than forty-one thousand soldiers of the 4th air army were awarded orders and medals, including my grandfather. He and his regiment reached Berlin. For participation in the heroic assault and capture of Berlin, he was awarded the medal "for the capture of Berlin", and for participation in the heroic assault and liberation of Warsaw – the medal"for the liberation of Warsaw". Awarded the medal "for the victory over Germany in the great Patriotic war of 1941-1945". For valor and bravery in the great Patriotic war, on behalf Of the Minister of defense of the USSR, Marshal of the Soviet Union A. Grechko, he received the badge of honor "25 years of Victory in the great Patriotic war".
