Dominicskii Ivan Gerasimovich

Dominicskii Ivan Gerasimovich_x000D_ _x000D_ Rank: Lieutenant Colonel. Branch of service: army, air force (except marine aviation), the coast guard, the troops of the NKVD border troops. Division: 5th mixed aviation division. War is the destruction of old lives, orphaned children, death and injury, hunger, poverty and fear. They are hunched mothers who wait every day and every night for their sons to return home, who have already died defending their native fields. War is a time of showing courage and bravery at the front and in the rear of the enemy. Everyone knows that the Great Patriotic war is a huge emotional wound in human hearts. This terrible tragedy began on June 22, 1941, and ended only after four difficult years. A huge number of people died in this war. My great-grandmother, Alexandra Ivanovna Kostyuk, was born in the village of Voznesenskaya in the Labinsky district. Her family consisted of six people. When the war started, my great-grandmother was eleven years old. But in her memory there are memories of the difficult wartime. June 22 was the bitterest day in her memory. It was Sunday. Her father-Domnitsky Ivan Gerasimovich, worked at that time as a gardener on a collective farm, was not of military age. In November 1941 my father said to my great grandmother: "I volunteer to join the army, I have to defend my Homeland, and you, my daughter, study and work." In the village of Kushchevskaya on August 2 at 14.00 there was a battle called "Kushchevskaya battle". My great-grandmother's father took part in it. He died saving his friend Kalmykov. Kalmykov remained on the battlefield wounded, Domnitsky Ivan Gerasimovich crawled up to him. The father of a great-grandmother picked up a wounded friend, and suddenly a low-flying plane appeared, which ended the lives of soldiers. They were killed before they could hide. After the war, my great-grandmother's family was poor, but they were all rich in their souls. To this day, Kostyuk Alexandra Ivanovna remembers the last instructions of her father: "Learn, daughter, we will break the enemy, life will be good." My great-grandmother will not forget these difficult days. In the Victory Park of the village of Kushchevskaya, the addresses of the victims were found during excavations. My great-grandmother, Kostyuk Alexandra Ivanovna, met with eyewitnesses of those events. And she learned from them how her father and two brothers had died. And all the witnesses vowed to put up a monument to the heroes who died and never forget them. In the village of Voznesenskaya, Labinsky district, in the Museum, a lot is known about the Kostyuk family of Alexandra Ivanovna. My great-grandmother's family has been connected to the Kushchevskaya land for 70 years. They often visit the memorial and the Museum where photos of my relatives are collected. My great-grandmother has one wish: "So that children who now have a happy childhood, never saw and did not survive those days of the great Patriotic war!!!» I would like all people on Earth to know what war is only from the pages of textbooks. May there never be another war on Earth!
