Didorenko was born in 1914 in the village of Sitnoye, Rakityansky district in the family of a peasant. He started working in the same village as a shepherd in 1929. From 1930 to 1940, he worked as a foreman on the collective farm "3rd five-year plan". From 1940 to 1945, he served in the armed Forces of the USSR. From the first days until the end of the great Patriotic war, as part of the Leningrad, Karelian and Belarusian fronts, he took part in the fighting against Nazi Germany. From 1940 to 1945, he served in the armed Forces of the USSR. After demobilization in 1948, E. K. Didorenko began to work as a collective farmer of the collective farm "3rd five-year plan", and from 1950 to 1951 he worked as the Chairman of the collective farm named after Chapaev. From 1951 to 1956, he attended the three-year agricultural school for training collective farm chairmen in Kursk, after which he worked as Deputy Chairman of the Voroshilov collective farm. The most complete talent of the organizer Yegor Kondratyevich was revealed as the Chairman of the Komsomolets collective farm, which he headed from 1957 to 1972.
