Visloguzov Nikolay Prokofievich_x000D_ _x000D_ Rank: Military technician of the 1st rank Type of troops: Technical troops (XV, zhdv, AB, RTV, DV, topographic) In 1937, he was called up for active service in the army. The time was harsh and turbulent – I had to fight with bandit Bandera in Western Ukraine and Belarus, and he took part in the Finnish war. In 1940, he was discharged, returned home, and worked at the railway station. And then came a terrible day for my people-June 22, 1941. War… In August 1941, my great-grandfather went to the front. He was a gunsmith, repairing weapons damaged in battle on the front line. Of course, he took part in the fighting. How can you be on the front line without it? He had a chance to fight on the Kursk bulge, and took part in the famous battle of Kursk. My great-grandfather also took part in the battle of Stalingrad. When he thought about it, he cried because many of his comrades had died there… My great-grandfather finished his military career in Prague, where on may 11, 1945, he learned about the German surrender and the signing of a peace Treaty. In the fall of 1945, he returned home with the rank of senior Sergeant, the position of senior weapons master. My great-grandfather has five orders: three orders of the Patriotic war, the order of the red Star, the order of the red banner of Battle; three medals – "for bravery", "for military merit", "for the capture of Prague". After the war, he worked at the Mineralnye Vody station as a locksmith. My great-grandfather has many certificates of innovation proposals, certificates of Honor, he was awarded a personal watch, a medal "for valiant labor", and the title"Veteran of labor". I am very proud of my great-grandfather.
