Begunov Pavel Nikolaevich

Veteran of the Great Patriotic War Pashov Konstantin Pavlovich. He went through the whole war, was wounded. He died in the 80s.

In the photo my grandfather Stepan Podgorny,a private soldier. Brought from the front, barely alive, paralyzed. As far back as I can remember, he said almost nothing (his speech was broken), but he worked all his life on a collective farm. He gave birth to and raised 10 children with my grandmother. He died in 1991, at the age of 81.

Tretyakov Prokofiy Mikhailovich, disappeared in 1942 near Leningrad, was a machine gunner. The photo was taken not long before leaving for the front.
