Lapin Nikolay Yakovlevich. Born in 1918, Petrovskoe village. He graduated from the 7th grade of the Mishkinsky secondary school. Electrician. In 1938-1941 he served as a tank gunner-radio operator in Primorye. In January 1942 he was wounded near Kerch. On August 4, 1942, the KV crew with his participation knocked out and burned 6 German tanks in Tinguta station near Stalingrad. His crew defended the approach to the Astrakhan bridge for a long time, but was hit. Guards First Sergeant Lapin N. Ya. was wounded. In 1943-1944 he participated in the liberation of Belgorod, Uman, Balti, Kovel, Polish cities. He was awarded of two Orders of the Red Star, the Order of the Patriotic War 1st class, the medal "For the Defense of Stalingrad", etc.
