Signal operator Alexei Mikhailovich Anisimov at the hospital
Mikhail Alekseevich Anisimov (1923-2004) was born in the village of Kalmanka, Vikulovsky District, Tyumen Region. In May 1941, he graduated from the School of Factory Training in Omsk. In June 1942, he was called up for military service, first in the 16th Western Regiment, where he studied as a radiotelegraph operator until December 1942. In the spring of 1943 he arrived near the city of Tula, took part in the Battle of Kursk, was seriously wounded during a mortar attack. Long six months was treated in the hospital. In the photo, Alexei Mikhailovich is depicted with a military doctor and hospital nurses in 1943. After the hospital, Private Anisimov returned to the front.
