Pyotr Nikolayevich Tarasov (1915-1993) was drafted to the front line in 1942. He was fighting at the 272nd Skiing Regiment, he was contused and wounded and given an early discharge on medical grounds after the hospital. He was awarded with the Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd class.
