My great-grandfather's name was Andrey Shkrebtiy. He was born in 1910 in the Bashkir ASSR, Ufa District. When the war began in 1941, he had a family: his wife Maria, daughter Ksenia 193... year of birth (this is my grandmother) and son Peter 193... year of birth. He served on Voronezh Front, the 508th Rifle Regiment, the 174th Rifle Division. He was a Lieutenant. Killed on August 24, 1942. Place of death: Voronezh Region, Korotoyaksky District, the village of Petropavlovskiy, Petropavlovskaya Station. The burial place: the Voronezh Region, Ostrogozhskiy District, the village of Korotoyak, the fraternal grave #162. In total, 2841 people were buried in the mass grave, of which 2838 were known.
