Lieutenant of the Medical Service Tatyana Baranova with her colleagues

Tatyana Baranova was born in the village of Vikulovo, Tyumen Region. She graduated with honors from the Shchors Leningrad Military Medical School in 1943. With the rank of Second Lieutenant, she was sent to the Medical Department of the 4th Ukrainian Front. She was assigned to the #126 Gorlovka Double Red Banner Rifle Division. Liberated Crimea and Sevastopol, participated in the capture of Konigsberg and Danzig. On the photo - Tatyana and her colleagues in the city of Sevastopol in May 1944.
