Crane Efim Aronovich (1916-1979). On the fronts of the Great Patriotic War since November 1942. Until the end of the war E.A. Crane was a senior doctor of the 902nd Rifle Regiment of the 248th Odessa Rifle Division. For his exceptional courage and bravery in organizing the evacuation of wounded soldiers and officers across the river Oder, 2-4 February 1945 Crane Efim Aronovich was awarded the Order of the Red Banner. In these battles, 137 wounded soldiers and officers were saved under his leadership. After the Great Patriotic War, from 1958 to 1978 he headed the Kansk Sanitary and Epidemiological Station. He was an Honoured Doctor of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic.
