Born in 1926, he was drafted into the army in November 1943 by the Lenin military Enlistment office. He participated in the liberation of Korea from the Japanese imperialists as part of the troops of the Second Far Eastern Front in a separate chemical defense reconnaissance company with the rank of sergeant major. He was awarded the Orders of the Patriotic War of the 2nd degree, the Red Banner of Labor, the medals "For Military Merit", "For Victory over Japan", labor and jubilee medals. He was discharged from the army in September 1950.
