Antipov Stepan Yakovlevich

Antipov Stepan Yakovlevich was born on December 24, 1911 in the village of Novoarkhangelskoye, Orenburg region. In 1939 he graduated from the Kuibyshev Agricultural Institute, and by distribution he got into an agronomist in st. Kotlyarevskaya to the Krasnaya Niva collective farm. The news of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War found Stepan Yakovlevich in the field. He was drafted into the Army in October 1942 by the May District Military Commissariat. After being drafted into the army, he was sent to courses in Essentuki, where he received the military specialty of a mortar and the military rank of Second Lieutenant. The first battle was near Kerch city, Crimea. Then there was the Battle of Stalingrad.
