Arishin Sergey Petrovich, 1926 - 2004 When he turned 18, in 1943, he was drafted to the front. Sergeant Arishin Sergei Petrovich of the Guard, radio operator for the 159th Separate Guard Communications Battalion, was a radio operator when the enemy's defence was broken through on the outskirts of Berlin from 16.04.1945 to 02.05.1945. Following the infantry combat calculations with heavy artillery fire of the enemy, he provided radio communication with the regiment, transmitted clear battle orders and reports to the command without the slightest delay. He returned home in 1947. He was awarded the Order of the "Red Star", the Order of "Patriotic War II degree", the medal "For military services".
