Type of troops: Technical troops (Chemical, Railway, Auxiliary, Radio-radar,, topographic). KOTOV Ibrahim Huatovich today is not among the veterans who celebrate their most dear and great holiday - Victory Day. Ibragim Kotov took part in the war before the victorious salute. He did not like to talk about his military affairs, but with pride and sincerity he always talked about his comrades in arms, never forgot about those who did not return from the war. From Novocherkassk to Konigsberg - such is the combat path along the roads of war of Ibragim Huatovich Kotov. He entered this path as a twenty-year-old youth in June 1942. After completing short-term courses for car mechanics in Novocherkassk at the 12th department of the auto regiment, he was transferred to the 92nd department of the restoration and repair battalion, where he served until May 1943. In one of the fierce battles, he received a shell shock. Further military service of Ibrahim Huatovich until February 1944 was held as part of the 6th department of the Guards Tank Regiment as a senior radiotelegraph operator. For his courage and heroism in battles he was twice awarded the medal "For Courage". He met Victory Day on the streets of Königsberg as part of a 1,500 self-propelled artillery regiment. This was preceded by fierce fighting. And here he fought bravely. This is evidenced by the presentation for the medal "For the capture of Konigsberg". A little later, another one will be added to his awards - the medal "For the victory over Germany". So it was the military fate that Ibrahim Khuatovich fought as a member of the 118th Guards Heavy Tank Self-Propelled Regiment as the commander of a radio specialist squad with the rank of Guard Senior Sergeant. He was demobilized and returned to his native village only in January 1948. Here his relatives and friends were waiting for him. Both on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War and in the days of peaceful construction, he did not spare himself, giving his strength and knowledge to work. For a long time Ibrahim Huatovich worked in consumer cooperation, and in recent years - in his own collective farm. 35 years have passed since he passed away, but we keep the memory of him in our hearts.
