Kapridov Nikolay Yegorovich

Kapridov Nikolay Yegorovich was born in the village of Trophimovka Ekaterinovskiy district of Saratov region. At an early age, he was orphaned and raised by his aunt. At an early age he was orphaned and raised by his aunt. From the age of 15 he worked in a collective farm on a tractor, at the age of 18 he became a foreman. In 1942 he was drafted into the army, in the Far East, where after a short training in military matters, he was sent to the front near Leningrad, in the area of the Karelian isthmus. Participated at combat levels of breaking the siege of Leningrad. In 1944, he was seriously wounded in battle, by numerous shrapnel from a shell that exploded nearby. He lost two fingers on his left hand, and the remaining three never functioned again. Also, several fragments remained in his body for life. In 1944, Nikolay Yegorovich was sent as an invalid to his homeland. But without despair, he continued to work for the good of the country. In his native collective farm, he began working in the collective farm bee-keeping team. Already in 1946, Nikolay Yegorovich managed a collective farm apiary, and in 1951 he took 1st place in the Saratov region for collecting honey and wax, for which he was awarded a 1st degree diploma by the Minister of agriculture of the USSR. In 1952, Nikolay Yegorovich published a small book-brochure guide for novice keepers. Nikolay Yegorovich was an excellent family man, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. In the house of Nikolay Egorovich and his wife Kapralova Ekaterina Timofeevna was always welcome, there was love and kindness. Nikolay Yegorovich died in 2012, November 5th, but like millions of other participants and veterans of the Great Patriotic War, he made a huge contribution to the protection and post-war development of our Motherland!
