Grigory Ilyich was born in 1914 in Uryupino village, Vachsky District, Gorky Region. On February 24, 1937 he married Anna Ivanovna (Zheleznova). In 1938 they had a daughter, Dina, and later, in 1939, a daughter, Valya. Before going to the front, Grigory Ilyich worked in the 5th workshop of the plant “Trud”. The family began to build their house in Uryupino village, the construction was not completed before the start of the war. In 1942 Grigory Ilyich was drafted to the war. Anna Ivanovna was not at home at that time, so they did not have to meet again. She regretted about it all her life. She remembered her husband until her last days ...
