Pastukhov Ivan Egorovich was born in 1924 in Yamianka village, Novo-Burasovsky district, Saratov region. From July 1942 until Victory Day he served on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War. He participated in the liberation of Belgorod, Kharkov, the crossing of the Dnieper. He passed Moldova, Romania, Hungary. He was a gun commander, deputy platoon leader, and a battery sergeant. Participant of the Victory Parade on June 24, 1945 in Moscow. After demobilization, he worked in educational institutions in Donskoy. He was awarded of the Order of the Red Star, the Order of the Patriotic War 2nd class, and medals.
