In 1937 Lysenko Georgy Vasilyevich graduated from the military school in Yelabuga. He began military service in a rank First Lieutenant. During the Second World War, Georgy Lysenko fought: • on the Southern Front from July 1941 to September 1943, • the 4th Ukrainian Front from September 1943 to January 1944. • The 1st Ukrainian Front from January 1944.
