Tuktangulov Semyon Irzhanovich

Tuktangulov Semyon Irzhanovich was born in 1922. He went to the front at 19 years old. He fought in the tank forces. He took part in the liberation of Ukraine, Belarus, and reached Königsberg. He was seriously wounded near Königsberg, but after recovering he returned to the front. In 1944, near Ergli, he and intelligence man Didrov captured 7 German soldiers, who provided valuable information. Semyon received the rank of Sergeant. He performed all the assigned combat missions with dignity, for which he was awarded the Order of Glory 2nd class and the Order of Glory 3rd class. He died in 1979.
