Rogov Foma Zinoveevich, Sergeant, was born in 1914 in the Severnoe village, Severnoe District, Novosibirsk Region. Called up for military service in the Severnoe regional military commissariat in June 1941. He fought heroically in the Battle of Moscow, was seriously wounded. The nurse heard his groan in the pile of dead soldiers, dug him out and pulled the wounded man from the dead soldiers. Then he sent a letter with a mandate flies from the hospital to his home to name his daughter Dusya (when Foma Zinoveevich went to the front, little Dusya was not even a year old) in honor of his savior. The name of that nurse was Cossack Galya. Today, after many years, the family of Galina Kemeleva (daughter of Foma Rogov) keeps all family traditions and histories.
