Born in 1915 in Patriarsha village. Drafted into the Army in 1941, Kirovo. Private Soldier. His front life began in 1941. He was a tankman. In August his unit was surrounded. He was captured. At first he was sent to the Uman concentration camp. In November 1941 the prisoners of war were taken to Germany, to the Lubizgahen area. He tried to escape from the camp twice. He was wounded. After a month treatment he again got into a concentration camp. In 1945 he was released by the Americans. ... He served in the Soviet Army until December 1945. He was awarded the Medal "For Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945", "For Battle Merit", the Order of the Patriotic War 2nd class.
