Dyakov Nikolay Nikiforovich was born on April 20, 1925 in Guryevsk town, Kemerovo Region. In 1942 Nikolay Nikiforovich was drafted into Red Army. He studied in Voroshilov city (Ussuriysk) to be a gunner. At the end of winter together with the regiment he went to the West – to the 1rst Ukrainian Front. He was wounded. Little by little he recoverd but began to stutter. So he went on fighting until the end of the war. Returned home. He worked as a driller in a mine, then he went to Sverdlovsk to study to be a mining foreman. Awarded the Order of the Red Star and three Medals "For Courage". He passed away 16.06.2016
