Sheloumov Mikhail Ivanovich was born in the village of Shcherbatovka, Elatomsky District, Ryazan Region. December 22, 1941 in the city of Saratov was drafted into the army. He fought with the Nazis near Moscow, near Rzhev, fought on the Kursk Bulge. He liberated the cities of Kursk, Voronezh, Belgorod. In Crimea, they took Sapun Gora. Forced r. Dnieper, liberated the cities of Ukraine and Belarus. He drove the fascists from Riga. In March 1945 he was seriously wounded. He met Victory Day in the hospital. Awards: medals "For Military Merit", "For Victory over Germany", Order of the Patriotic War, II degree. Commendations of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief for the liberation of Simferopol and Sevastopol
